WHERE ARE THE CHAKRAS
SITUATED IN OUR BODY?

Chakras are situated in our subtle body which cannot be seen with our naked eyes. The fundamental seven chakras are situated along the spine, starting from the base of the spine till the crown of the head.

There are three main channels or nadis inside our spine, through which prana, life force or chi flows. They are Ida, Pingla and Sushumna. They are inside our subtle bodies. Ida, Pingla and Sushumna meet together at six different junctions or centres. Each centre is round like a wheel. Hence, they are called chakra. They are also called lotuses as they look like lotuses. The seventh chakra is in the crown inside the brain or head.
